“The city stands still and suspended. Spring has passed and the summer season is now beginning and the parks are still inaccessible, unmanaged, abandoned to decay. The administration continues to be late on everything and despite our repeated requests on the assignment of the San Marco park, on the works at Cottignoli Petrucci, on via Roccagorga and on the Susetta Guerrini green oasis, nothing has moved. On the latter, in particular, the tender for the management is still awaited and the assembly of the games is proceeding slowly despite the works having been inaugurated last April in the presence of the councillor. At Cottignoli Petrucci the situation is completely abandoned, the games are destroyed or seriously damaged and the Municipality does not intervene in the management despite all the critical issues being raised also in a Transparency commission. Now we also learn that on the former Evergreen in via Roccagorga, given the delays and the state of neglect which risks causing damage, there is a plan to proceed with a collaboration agreement. “We have learned in recent days that a new street food event is being organized in the city and that the place chosen for the event this time is the San Marco park – adds the movement’s secretary, Elettra Ortu La Barbera – We don’t think it’s an appropriate place to organize an event of this scale. While all the green areas are abandoned to neglect, on this one the Municipality authorizes yet another event related to food, where a large influx of people and perhaps loud music and confusion are expected which could disturb the fauna of the park. Touring the city and opening the newspapers every day we see that decorum, the strong point of the mayor and her majority during the entire electoral campaign, does not seem to be a real priority for this administration”.
