“Portesani’s position regarding the multi-storey building in Via Dante is curious: now that, after so much effort, the city will have a large free Corona car park available to citizens and commuters, the credit – in his opinion – does not go to those who succeeded to find the financing but of those who provide them to the municipalities”. “Therefore – he continues – for Portesani a virtuous entity is not one that obtains external resources, but one that spends its own, which it had in its budget.
If it were a private company, in doing so it would go bankrupt, as the good cooperative manager candidate for the right should know.
The reality is that to guarantee the growth and development of a city, the collaboration of all bodies is needed: the Region, the Government and also the Municipalities which often have to co-finance public works and the tenders won in order to carry them out. In summary, it seems that what bothers Portesani is simply the fact, or the news, that the city now has the new car park available.”
