“Mountains without frontiers” was inaugurated on Saturday 25 May at Palazzo Samone. Paintings from the Plassier collection of La Salle and from the Ferrero collection of Cuneo”. The exhibition, curated by Sandra Barberi and Alessandro Abrate, is sponsored by the Province of Cuneo and the Municipality of La Salle (AO) and created by the Municipality of Cuneo, in collaboration with Promocuneo.

At the vernissage of the exhibition, whose intent is not only to celebrate “Cuneo Alpine City 2024”, offering an unprecedented retrospective of mountain painting, but also to look at painting as a unifying cultural element beyond political territorial borders , a message that is more relevant today than ever in light of the twinning relationships that have linked Cuneo and Nice for sixty years, a large number of enthusiasts were present who appreciated the works belonging to the Plassier collection of La Salle and the Ferrero collection of Cuneo.

The exhibition will remain open, free of charge, until 8 September 2024, from Friday to Sunday, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Furthermore, upon reservation (Promocuneo, tel. 333/4984128) and for a minimum number of ten participants, guided tours are scheduled on the afternoons of Wednesday 26 June, 31 July and 28 August departing from Palazzo Civico di Roma 28, at 3.30 pm : the works of the Mayor’s gallery, the Casa Galimberti museum and Palazzo Samone will be illustrated.
