A bit of Valle del Belìce on the roof of Italy! On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th the national finals of the Opes competitive level artistic gymnastics championship took place in Civitavecchia, which saw athletes from all over Italy compete. The sisters Matilde and Maria Laura Gullo, young athletes of Partanese origins, secured the title of Italian Champion and vice-Italian Champion for the Junior and Senior categories (level 2). The girls, who are part of the Alcamo club Flying Gymnasts, brilliantly faced all the stages of the Opes Championship and those of the FGI Championship, winning participation in the finals, one of which took place over the recent weekend.
Together with their team, the young people demonstrated great skills and team spirit, demonstrating how the local sporting reality is committed to training the new generations both in terms of skills and in human and relational terms thanks to strong-willed and stubborn teachers and young people. capable of dreaming and working hard to achieve their goals!
