Fagioli stops, Barella aside in the first training session: Italian conditions

ISERLOHN (Germany) – First training for the national team in Iserlohn, ahead of his debut at Euro 2024 against Albania. The team coached by Luciano Spalletti took to the field to the enthusiasm of around 5,000 fans, almost all Italians living in Germany. The blue team entered the pitch led by the coach and the federal president Gabriele Gravina, many chants for the players who performed a tour of the pitch to greet the fans. Among the most acclaimed also Gigi Buffon, head of the national delegation, protagonist of the historic triumph in Germany at the 2006 World Cup in Teutonic soil. As for today’s session, for Nicolò Barella differentiated on the pitch, while Nicolò Fagioli performed a differentiated in the gym due to post-Italy-Bosnia fatigue.

Barella, Fagioli and Frattesi: the conditions

In particular, there is optimism around Nicolò Barella. The Inter midfielder seems to have now overcome the muscle fatigue suffered in recent weeks and should return to working regularly in a group with the rest of his teammates in the next few days. Furthermore, the Inter player also made a short run in the smaller field. As regards the talent produced by the Juventus youth academy, his conditions would not give rise to particular concerns: the fatigue he suffered Nicolò Fagioli, in fact, would derive from the intense workloads of the last period. After the first exercises there was a practice match in which he also participated Meret, fully recovered.
