The press release from Filctem Cgil Arezzo and Femca Cisl Arezzo

The blacklist of workplace accidents seems to never end. What happened in the Levane shoe factory, the scene of a serious accident at work – say Filctem Cgil Arezzo and Femca Cisl Arezzo, the two trade unions – confirms that beyond the rituals of solidarity, we still have to learn about these tragic accidents today. The location of the latter was a shoe factory, a sector apparently at lower risk but which nevertheless was the site of yet another tragic episode in the workplace. We express our solidarity for what happened and we will wait to understand what really happened. Our commitment continues to be to generate a profound discussion so that the issue of safety at work is at the center of the agenda of all parties involved and generates essential choices, rules and investments to guarantee the lives of those who work”.
