From Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th June the now traditional open weekend at Casa Famiglia returns, three days of free recreational-cultural events that will take place in the park of the structure and to which all citizens are invited. “We like to think of Casa Famiglia not as an island, a structure experienced only by those who live there and those who are emotionally attached to it – they explain from the structure -, but as a space in which to go through a stretch of life together, a reality that becomes an opportunity for meeting and exchange, a precious place to share time and experiences”.
It begins on Thursday 13th at 3.30pm with the inauguration of “Walking through weaves and colours: thread mandalas”, a suggestive installation of colorful mandalas created by the residents and volunteers of the creative laboratory which will decorate the trees in the park and the portico. The Bruni Orchestra duo composed of Sara Rinaudo on flute and Alberto Savatteri on guitar will then perform.
The usual group gymnastics is scheduled for Friday 14th at 10am, led by Paolo Bertola, physiotherapist of the residence, which for the occasion will be open to everyone and will take place in the equipped “No parking” route (entrance next to the main door in Corso Dante 58). Also on Friday, starting from 3.30pm Occitan music and dance with Li Vacansier XXL.
On Saturday 15th at 10am the hobbyist Ester Re will then lead the macramé workshop “Let your light shine”: participants will make simple and graceful lanterns using this highly effective and today very widespread technique. In the afternoon, at 3.30pm Patrizia Saccà, former Paralympic athlete and yoga teacher, will present her new book “The Salute to the Moon”, in which she illustrates the method she created of free-ray yoga, expressly aimed at people with disabilities.
