Veneto municipal elections, all mayors: live results

Venice, 10 June 2024 – The counting of ballots has begun 309 Municipalities of Veneto went to the polls for the renewal of the municipal administration. An alarming fact has emerged from the polls: Veneto is among the last in Italy for the turnout of the administrative elections. Only the 59.28% of voters went to vote, almost eight points less compared to the last round (67.23). The most diligent were the Padua (71.84), the worst are the inhabitants of Belluno (55.76). TO Rovigo 60.55% of those entitled to vote in the city voted, while in the three new municipalities voting for the first time, the debut was good only for the Padua area Saint Catherine of Este (75.73), the Vicenza town of Vicenza remains below the regional average Sovizzo (57.20) and the Belluno area Sevenville (52.55).

The land of Zaia thus descends to 12th place in the list of regions’ turnout, after Veneto there are only Calabria (59.01), the Liguria (58.79) – overwhelmed by the political scandal of the alleged Totti bribes – and the Molise (58,52). And the Lazio the region with the highest number of voters (69.65).
