European elections 2024 – In Calabria, there is a boom in preferences for the vice president of the Region Giusi Princi, in favor of Forza Italia, Mimmo Lucano of the Left goes to the Euro Parliament
In Calabria, abstentionism won with 40.31% of those entitled to vote going to the polls. FdI, FI and Lega, in fact, with the ballot almost completed, the figures for the policies of two years ago are improving.
The first party in the region is Brothers of Italy, improving the result by more than one percentage point 2022followed closely by Forza Italia-Us moderates which obtains double the votes obtained at a national level by the Azzurri, while the Lega grows by almost 4 points.
In the province of Crotone the winner is the Five Star Movement with almost 21% of preferences, followed by Fratelli d’Italia with 19.26%. TO Crotone city the trend follows the provincial one: Conte’s party stands out at 26.53%.
The Calabrian result confirms the excellent state of health of Tajani’s partydoubling the national result, and rewarding the governor Roberto Occhiutodeputy national secretary of FI.
Also uphill League which, with 9.19% of the vote, improves the political result by almost 4 points, when it stopped at 5.72%.
The Democratic Party is improving, going from 14.40% of the ’22 elections to 15.92%, but remains behind the 5 Star Movement, the third party in the region despite the almost halving of the votes obtained two years ago, going from 29, 36% to 16.08%.
