Ragusa – “The ASP of Ragusa witnessed, on Saturday morning, a gesture of generosity by private individuals, which strengthens the relationship between citizens and institutions, sending a positive message regarding the commitment of the Health Service. In fact, a company has donated ten relaxation armchairs to be given to mothers who care for small patients in the pediatric department of Vittoria”. This is what we read in a post with photos published on the Facebook page of the Asp of Ragusa.
The initiative was born from the experience of one of the owners: “During my son’s hospitalization – he says – I found a welcoming environment and a lot of professionalism from all the operators. This is why I wanted to donate deckchairs to this wonderful department that will comfort parents who care for sick children.”
The donation was received by the director of the Pediatrics Operating Unit of the “Guzzardi” PO, Dr. Fabrizio Comisi, and by the Extraordinary Commissioner of the ASP of Ragusa, Dr. Giuseppe Drago. “These small, large gestures of civility and altruism – says the Commissioner – are frequently repeated and are indicative of how much the Ragusa community appreciates the work and professionalism of our operators, as well as the link between users and the services provided by the Agency.
