with proven experience and great interpretative qualities. Teresa Cardace, a lyric soprano with a soft and generous voice, offered the large audience in the room a high-level performance, the result of the countless artistic experiences gained over the years in Italy and abroad, performing some of the most beautiful arias on the scene. Italian opera, conducted by the expert baton of Maestro Russo: from “Vissi d’arte” by Tosca and “O mio babbino caro” by G.Puccini, the centenary of whose death is celebrated, to the refined aria of his fellow countryman from the realist school F.Cilea “Io son l’umile ancella” taken from the opera Adriana Lecouvreur, ending with the musical genius of G.Verdi with Eleonora’s aria “Pace, pace, mio Dio” taken from “La forza del Destino”. Satisfaction was expressed by the Director of the ISS Pertini, Dr. Annamaria Maltese, by the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Crotone, Dr. Nicola Corigliano and by the Deputy Director of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Prof. Filippo Garruba.
