Bologna, 14 June 2024 – Un weekend full of events has just begun, and here, like every week, is our guide to the events planned to make the most of these three days of summer.
Friday 14 June
It starts today, in the garden of via Filippo Re, the thirteenth edition of BOtaniquewhich will last until July 20th. The musical festival opens with the Nobraino group, true “stage animals” just like the name of their latest album. The artists are expected at 9pm 18space for music at Red Barracks for the second day of Oltre Festival. Massimo Pericolo, Ex-Otago, Eugenio in Via di Gioia, Milanosport, Angelice and Rrai del Tacco alternate on stage. A new beginning still awaits the Two Towers today. Part Paradox view cultural perspectives with a new staging of the first two parts of The Enchanted Mountain, performed on alternate evenings and redesigned specifically for the extraordinary spaces of the Rizzoli. Archiviozeta has decided to inaugurate its new artistic residence with the staging of Thomas Mann’s masterpiece. At 8.30pmat the Manzoni Auditorium there is theMozart Orchestra, led by Daniele Gatti. At 21The DiMondi in Piazza Lucio Dalla welcomes the Zar Electrick. Always at 21at the greenhouses of the Margherita Gardens, Space Diffusion, a multimedia show with live music, generative visuals and audiovisual clips. The two multi-instrumentalists, Danilo Gallo and Gioele Pagliaccia, participate in a futuristic cinematic flow of images and dialogues driven by Gigi Funcis. At 9.15pm, Lorenzo Campani & Marco Dirani Trio enliven the Jazz Lounge in via Mascarella. At 9.45pmat the Arena Puccini we watch Past lives by Celine Song.
Saturday 15 June
At 11am, Palazzo d’Accursio inaugurates the photographic exhibition Towards the future – Renovation of the municipal theater of Bologna (1st part). Shots by Ivano Adversi and Gabriele Fiolo. At 6pm, Margherita is scheduled at the Serre dei Giardini Mint Sound. The guests are Vibe by Red Chocolate & Thomas Les Vaches. At 6.30pm, it goes on stage at the Duse Our Time, a free show on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Bernstein School of Musical Theater in Bologna. At 8.30pm, the Mast Auditorium projects Federico Fellini’s Rome. At 9pm, the artists perform at the Comini Fund Erin Collective present the new album Alternative Positive.
Sunday 16 June
Day dedicated to music to the Montagnola Park. Departure at 11.30 with Haruo Kawakami and Matilde Bianchi in concert. From 6.30pm to 8pm, however, it is available Music and dances from another world. At 9pm there is a concert Gianluca Carta, Costantino Lai, and Michele Deiana. Scheduled from 4pm to 11pm Villages celebrating in Monte Donato, including stands, books and shows also suitable for the little ones. At 4.30pm, DumBO hosts Puppets in Bologna with an afternoon of workshops and then followed by a show at 6pm. At 9pm, it goes on stage in Porta Pratello Patrizio Agostini Show.
