Work in Viale Veneto: pay attention to traffic conditions

CHIOGGIA – Important changes to road traffic in Viale Veneto are expected on Monday 24 June to allow some work to be carried out near a private home. From 8am to 5pm, or in any case until the end of the intervention if anticipated, a ban on vehicular transit will be established on the south lane of Viale Veneto, precisely in the area in front of number 32. Pedestrian passage on the corresponding pavement will also be prohibited with the indication of alternative routes to ensure pedestrian safety. During the same period of time, an alternate one-way system will be introduced on the north lane of Viale Veneto, regulated by traffic light systems or traffic lights, to allow safer and more orderly traffic management. Furthermore, a maximum limit of speed of 20 km/h near the section affected by the works, to reduce the risk of accidents and improve road safety. On the same day, from 7 to 12, a transit ban will be in force for all vehicles on the southern carriageway of Viale Venetoin the stretch between Piazzale Italia and Viale Trieste, with the consequent roadway closure. Furthermore, parking will be prohibited with the forced removal of all vehicles in the same stretch and pedestrian transit will be prohibited on the southern pavement of Viale Veneto, with the indication of an alternative route on the opposite side of the road.
