Over the weekend just gone, the checks aimed at repressing common crime prepared by the Carabinieri Company of Arezzo made it possible to arrest a 25-year-old Ghanaian, without a fixed address, who was subject to a measure restricting personal freedom issued by the Court of Arezzo.
The recipient of the personal precautionary measure had already been arrested by the same carabinieri on 22 April, after he had become the protagonist of a violent attack against the Radiomobile soldiers who had to identify him (editor’s note: one of them had received a bite on his left ear), this was followed by the validation of the arrest and the consequent release from prison with the simultaneous application, against the attacker, of the residence ban in the Province of Arezzo.
The young man, however, in the short term, had broken the Judge’s order several times, remaining in the province of Arezzo and committing other aggressive behavior towards the community, therefore, the Judicial Authority, appropriately informed by the Carabinieri, had ordered his imprisonment.
Thus, following targeted observation services in the areas most frequented by homeless people, in Via Veneto, the patrols of the Radiomobile Section and the Operations Section identified the young man who was arrested again and then taken to the Arezzo prison.
