» Violent night in Teramo: stabbing in Piazza Orsini and a fight in Piazza Garibaldi

In Piazza Orsini, due to a score-settling, a boy from Teramo suffered three knife wounds between his side and chest

Busy night in Piazza Garibaldi in Teramo where a fight took place, and in Pizza Orsini near Corso San Giorgio, where a score-settling resulted in a stabbing which could have also resulted in the loss of a young life.

Tables, bottles and ashtrays used as blunt objects, punched and kicked in Piazza Garibaldi. Two boys between 25 and 28 years old were injured and, according to initial testimonies, they had suffered significant blows between the head and arms. There are those who tell of a violent beating by a young gang of foreign boys and that “the screams of pain could be heard from afar”.

An even more serious episode in Piazza Orsini where a boy from Teramo suffered three knife wounds between his side and chest from another boy of Albanian origin. The reason? A settling of accounts. Three stab wounds which are worrying the health workers of the Mazzini hospital in Teramo and which demonstrate an urban security situation which has long since reached the limit of implosion, in a scenario where alcohol and drug use among young people become dangerous triggers of uncontrolled violence. The Carabinieri of the mobile radio, the police officers and the 118 health workers intervened on site.
