This Wednesday the youth tennis tournament of the Emilia Romagna Junior Tour regional circuit ended at Sporting. 243 people from all the provinces of the region participated in the event, divided into various categories from under 10 to under 16, male and female. , who played the matches between the red clay and indoor bolltex courts due to rain.
In the women’s under 10 Maria Chiara Bacchini of TC Fidenza triumphed in the final over the home athlete Gisele Dallari. Gaia Serra Zanetti of Tennis Modena won the women’s under 12 competition over Diamante Campana of CT Zavaglia – Ravenna. The women’s under 14, however, goes to Eliza Deaconu of Max Tennis Time – Bologna, who beat Elisa Trenti of CT Albinea. The Sporting Club wins the under 16 women’s category thanks to the victory of Asya Grande over Sofia Elgorni of TC Castellazzo – Parma.
The Sassuolo team also triumphed in the men’s under 10 and under 12, respectively with Tommaso Migliorini, winning over Edoardo Storchi (another home athlete) and with Matteo Grotti, winning over Arturo Vescovi of TC Parma. In the under 14 Elio Testi of CT Correggio triumphed in the final with Darius Grecu of TC Saliceta; victory for Giacomo Fabbri in the under 16.
The next appointment is set for July 22nd with the “Tennis Europe Junior Tour” International Tournament, under 14 male and female, Memorial Rossini – BPER Trophy, on the club’s clay courts.
