The Ecm training event entitled “Technological innovation in community and hospital pharmacies is automation: impacts on organizational systems” will be held on 26 June 2024 at the Arcobaleno Auditorium of ASL Bari. The news was given by the Interprovincial Order of Pharmacists of Bari and Bat – chaired by Sen. Luigi d’Ambrosio Lettieri – who announced that the objective of the course, aimed at a total of maximum 50 participants including hospital pharmacists and territorial, is to address issues relating to the digital transformation that is affecting every area of ​​the healthcare system, with a specific focus on the automation of pharmaceutical warehouses.

Acquisition of 5.3 CME credits

The day’s program, from 9:00 to 14:00, includes various interventions by expert speakers from both the hospital and academic world. After the institutional greetings, Annalisa Gasco, director of the hospital pharmacy of the Mauriziano hospital in Turin, will talk about technological and organizational innovation applied to medicines, analyzing its strengths and critical points for the hospital pharmacist. This will be followed by a speech by Roberta Di Turi, pharmacist manager of ASL Roma 3, who will delve into the topic of automation and centralization of warehouses from the pharmacist’s point of view.

Interventions by industry and strategic management experts

In the second part of the morning, Luigi Fruscio, lawyer and acting general director of the Bari ASL, will present the strategic management’s point of view on the automation and centralization of warehouses. Carlo Rafele, professor at the Polytechnic of Turin, will analyze the strengths and critical points of automation and infrastructures related to logistics. Nicola Sansolini, engineer and director of the Technology and Innovation Purchasing Department, will delve into the practical aspects related to the feasibility of the project and the minimum necessary requirements.
