Hydraulic improvement works will be carried out on the Perugia-Bettolle motorway junction for the flow of water inside the Prepo tunnel. Anas communicated this in a note. To limit traffic disruption, the works will take place from 9pm to 6.30am the following day.

Perugia-Bettolle In detail, on the nights of Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th June the roadway towards Bettolle will be closed, with mandatory exit at the Prepo junction and return at the San Faustino junction. On the nights of Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th the roadway towards Ponte San Giovanni will be closed, with mandatory exit at the San Faustino junction and return to the Prepo junction. Traffic will be diverted onto secondary roads.

The construction sites The same limitations will be repeated in the following week, to allow the completion of the works: on the nights of Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th the roadway towards Bettolle will be closed, while on the nights of Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th the roadway towards Ponte San Giovanni will be closed . Two weeks during which the construction site for the replacement of the central traffic island between Madonna Alta and Ferro di Cavallo will not be active.

E45 On the E45, however, Anas has completed the work to replace the central traffic island on a 4.5 km stretch between Collepepe and Ripabianca. At the end of the intervention, in the next few days the adaptation of the pavement in the section at the Ripabianca junction will be carried out, as already carried out in recent days at the Marsciano/Collepepe junction. On Tuesday 11th therefore transit will be regulated in two directions on one carriageway, while the Ripabianca junction will be temporarily closed on entry and exit for those traveling in the direction of Cesena and the Casalina junction will be closed on exit towards Cesena. Completion of this phase is expected by Wednesday 19th.

New barriers «The old traffic divider – explains Anas – has been replaced with a new latest generation concrete barrier, designed and patented by Anas, called Ndba (National dynamic barrier Anas). The peculiarity of this barrier, 1.2 meters high, consists in its ability to contain any impacts with a very small displacement, even in the case of heavy vehicles and even in the case of two impacts in rapid succession, significantly raising the safety standards for circulation”.
