The first reconstructions
Once the thieves entered the Bulgari jewelry store, they smashed the windows and stole the jewelry inside. The alarm system went off just before midnight. The forensic police carried out extensive investigations on site. The hole in the floor that connected the shop to the basement of a building was also inspected.
At least three thieves
There were at least three thieves who carried out the huge theft in the Bulgari jewelery shop in Rome during the night. This is what investigators hypothesize. To get to the shop, the hole gang may have also exploited the sewer system. For this reason the tunnels are also being inspected. The expert thieves entered the shop with their faces covered and wearing gloves and broke some internal displays and stole the jewels. The police are examining the video surveillance images of the jewelry store and those from a wide range of the area. The Flying Squad is investigating the matter.
