A double theft to the detriment of two public places, one in Poggio Sannita, the other in Pietrabbondante. This is how the news page of upper Molise opens on election day. The thieves went into action in the middle of the night and burgled two local businesses.
In the first case, right in the center of the Poggio Sannita square, the criminals managed to lift the shutter and, after having torn off the lock on the entrance door, entered the commercial business. Cartons of cigarettes and some bottles of liquor were stolen. From an initial estimate the loot would be around two thousand euros. The place is not the first time that it has been “visited” by thieves: in recent years, in fact, there have been three hits in the business. There are some cameras in the area that could help investigators trace the culprits. A second shot, a few hours later, in Pietrabbondante, where from the first reconstructions it even seems that the thieves cut the railings protecting the entrance door. Also in this second case the criminals took away tobacco worth a value yet to be quantified. The Carabinieri of the Agnone company are investigating the double theft, assisted by the territorial stations responsible for the area.
