CAPISTRELLO. Violent son is arrested after violating the ban on approaching his elderly parents.
The man, CR 43 years old, from Capistrello and with drug addiction problems behind him, he could not resign himself to the precautionary measure that had been inflicted on him, just a week ago, to protect his mother and father. It was the Carabinieri from the Civitella Roveto station who rushed to the aid of the two elderly couple on Thursday night who were unable to contain their son’s fury. Around one o’clock the two elderly people were woken up by their son who was furiously trying to enter the house. For this reason the couple requested the intervention of the police.
Upon their arrival, the man was forced to desist and respect the military’s invitation to follow them to the barracks, leaving his parents’ house from where, days ago, he had been removed due to the ban on approach. The provision, signed by the investigating judge of the Avezzano court, had been notified to him by the Carabinieri of Capistrello. The accusation against the 43-year-old is of mistreatment towards his parents. Now he will also have to answer for the crime of violating the precautionary measure. At the order of the public prosecutor on duty, the violent son was arrested and placed under house arrest pending the validation hearing before the judge for preliminary investigations.
Carabinieri patrols from the Tagliacozzo company will ensure compliance with the new precautionary measure. (fdm)
