Great success at the debut, with hundreds of appearances at the Emperor’s Castle, and today the encore. La Toscana in Bocca closes the two days dedicated to the authentic flavors of Prato with another evening dedicated to taste, good music and sociality. It does so after Friday’s ribbon cutting, which saw the starred chef Cristiano Tomei as a special guest and a large audience who came to experience the interpretations of the most authentic Prato flavors by 16 of the best restaurateurs, pastry chefs and expert winemakers in the area. and Pistoia. Promoted by Confcommercio and Fipe Pistoia and Prato as part of Eat Prato, with the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Pistoia and Prato, the event is part of the Vetrina Toscana circuit, the project on food and wine tourism in the Region aimed at enhancing catering of quality, through a network capable of ensuring great resonance for all the activities involved. Furthermore, the initiative represents a special preview of Arcobaleno d’Estate, the program of events – from 19 to 25 June – promoted by the Region together with La Nazione with the support of Toscana Promozione Turistica, Fondazione Sistema Toscana and Vetrina Toscana and with the participation of trade associations, to celebrate the start of the tourist season.

The second evening will also be characterized by dishes that represent the most sincere expressions of the territory, in a constant tension between the protection of traditions and the innovative drive. The food will be accompanied by tastings of fine local wines and refined cocktails. The evening will then continue with live music from the band “Dipende da Sally”.
