A day later, the almost five-year-old boy kidnapped by his mother in Aosta on Thursday was found in Cuneo. This was announced by the family to whom he had been entrusted, who were notified last night by the Aosta Police Headquarters.
“We were contacted by the Aosta Police Headquarters yesterday, Friday, at 10pm and they told us that they had found Muhammed Lamin Camara in Cuneo. We left immediately and with joy we realized that the little boy was fine. The mother, Fatoumatta Ceesay, was not there. ‘we met. Muhammed slept throughout the journey, we arrived home at 4 in the morning and he still hadn’t spoken,’ said Valery Lucci, the maternal aunt where the child, taken from his mother, had been placed.

As reported by La Stampa, the search for the child began immediately after the news of the kidnapping during a meeting arranged by the Juvenile Court with the biological mother and the woman was apparently traced thanks to the location of her cell phone. The child, on the orders of the Court, had been placed with his uncles “after a series of mistreatment.
