An evening that was supposed to be fun turned into a nightmare for a young couple from Catanzaro. The episode occurred last night on the Giovino seafront.
According to the woman’s story, published on a social group, she and her boyfriend had decided to spend an evening drinking a beer by the sea. Due to the strong wind, the couple chose to hide in their car near the trees, to take shelter and enjoy their drink in peace.
The evening took an unexpected turn when, twice, their car door opened on its own. Initially, the two didn’t give it any weight, thinking it was a coincidence, and decided to lock the door. But the surprise came shortly after, when the young woman opened the door to smoke and glimpsed, in the darkness, a figure staring at her intensely.
Without wasting time, the woman warned her boyfriend, who immediately started the car engine to drive away quickly. The individual rushed towards the moving car, managing to open the door and grabbing the woman by her arm. Only the girl’s screams and the boyfriend’s promptness in pressing the accelerator made it possible to lose the attacker, avoiding worse consequences.
Fortunately, neither of them was injured.
