There are nine new general practitioners arriving in Molfetta.

The ASL Bari, precisely to minimize the inconvenience for its patients, is taking steps to streamline as much as possible the procedures for installing doctors in Molfetta, as well as in all the other districts involved, including the regional capital where 28 are planned new family doctors out of the 71 appointed in total.

After the signing for the acceptance of the assignment which already took place in recent days at the headquarters of the ASL Affiliated Personnel Office, it is now necessary for the process to be formalized in deliberative documents and for each doctor to identify the practice in which to practice the profession.

As regards Molfetta, in particular, two of the new doctors arriving (a new position and one transferring from another ASL) may already be available by the month of June, the others will follow closely. The General Directorate has in fact issued a circular to all the socio-health districts, urging maximum diligence “in the inspection procedure of the medical practices to be affiliated” and in organizing “the best possible health registers for the choice of the doctor, in order not to create disservice to users without their own trusted doctor”.
