The South East Tuscany Local Health Authority also takes part in the first edition of the Open Day dedicated to Women’s Prevention of the Onda ETS Foundation scheduled for Wednesday 19 June. Free clinical-diagnostic and information services will be offered to women in Italian Bollini Rosa hospitals, identifying various specialist areas. The objective of the initiative is to promote correct primary and secondary prevention in all phases of life in the female population, from puberty to menopause, in relation to the hormonal changes that accompany and characterize them, impacting health and psycho-physical well-being.
In the province of Siena, the Campostaggia hospital and the Nottola hospital are joining the initiative. Here are the activities:
Campostaggia Hospital
– Dietetics clinic for nutritional assessment from 10am to 12pm

Breast checks dedicated to women who are not yet included in the regional screening from 8.30am to 1.30pm They will consist of an examination and ultrasound for women under 40 years of age, examination, ultrasound and mammography for women aged between 40 and 45. The activity proposed by Giovanna Liberati, director of the Uoc Food Hygiene and Nutrition, is planned in Grosseto. Nutritional consultancy appointments (which include body assessment and bioimpedance analysis) are available on 19 June, from 9am to 1pm. This is a screening which you can follow up with taking charge of a nutritional clinic. Screenings take place in clinic 7, on the first floor, Sports Medicine area of Villa Pizzetti. In the province of Arezzo, the Valdarno hospital is participating in the first edition of the day promoted by the Onda ETS Foundation with free medical visits. They will be at the Santa Maria alla Gruccia hospital 10 breast and ultrasound visits offered with clinical and ultrasound breast control. The oncologist and the radiologist/breast specialist from the multidisciplinary breast oncology group will be present. The visits will take place in the afternoon of 19.6.2024 starting from 2pm until 5.30pm at the Radiology department, located on the 2nd level of the Valdarno Hospital. No. 6 vaccinations for HPV prevention will also be offered: recipients are women within their 25th birthday, or women who have had operations or injuries related to HPV infections or immunosuppressed women.
The vaccinations will take place in the afternoon of 19.6.2024 starting from 2.00 pm until 3.00 pm at the Public Hygiene Department – Vaccination Clinic – Ground Floor – Santa Maria alla Gruccia Hospital.
