The olive oil entrepreneur Manfredi Barbera wins, with the Lorenzo n.1, the Sofy Award for the second consecutive year, and enters the history of the Food Oscars for being the first Italian oil producer to win, for two consecutive years, the coveted golden statuette.

Also celebrating the important milestone was the Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida, who visited the Barbera stand, congratulating Barbera which represents Sicilian excellence in the world.
“It is an award that makes us very proud – comments Manfredi Barbera – because entering the history of the Sofy Award with the victory achieved for two consecutive years, with our Lorenzo n.1, is the fruit of so much commitment and sacrifice and above all of who has always invested in innovation, sustainability but always remaining anchored to our tradition and our identity. A recognition that has a special flavor for us because it coincides with an important birthday, i.e. the 130 years of the company and arriving on the roof of the world with one of our products is the best gift we could have expected to celebrate this historic milestone”.

Characteristics of the winner oil
