Bisceglie is the protagonist of the video clip that accompanies the singer-songwriter’s latest single Erica Moufrom the emblematic title de “The Feast of the Saint”. A tribute to the traditions of his hometown, recorded last summer during the celebrations for the Bisceglie patronal festival.
“The feast of the saint” it is a song that evokes the atmosphere of a village festival, mixing the excitement and disorientation typical of these events. Among carousels, clowns, elephants and cotton candy, on a summer evening a farewell takes shape that sounds like a melancholy and engaging tango, supported by handclaps, classical guitars, a poignant violin and the bittersweet taste of truth.
“The inspiration of this song is very clear: the patronal festival, the carousels, a type of fake love that I like to talk about so much, the difficulty of communicating with others and looking in the mirror, the cyclical nature of certain appointments that have remained unchanged since we were little but within lives that are more complex every year, my home,” explains the singer-songwriter.
The direction and editing of the video were handled by Giacomo Citro, with the art direction of Marco Giovanni Grisolia and the collaboration of Sabrina Mellace (styling).
