STAGE CHAPTER – «It is clear to everyone that there is a problem in this country, the bureaucratic impacts certainly do not help investors to carry out infrastructure works in Italy. We presented a project in 2019 in the Municipality of Milan and today we are still in full discussion and we have not yet seen the end of this procedural process. On the other hand we were forced to have a plan B, which is to have a proprietary plant in Rozzano, we are pursuing that path, we have an exclusive right until the end of January to evaluate this area.
It is clear that the alternative that is still on the ground is that of a possible renovation of San Siro, which the mayor of Milan has put in WeBuild’s hands and we will see the results at the end of June. The fundamental thing is to give clubs like ours the opportunity to compete on an international level and, if we don’t have the infrastructure, it becomes increasingly difficult because the gap we have today in terms of revenues generated by new facilities is too important for not being able to cover it. What I want to say to all Inter fans and all football enthusiasts is that it is necessary to have modern infrastructures to ensure that our fans can come and rejoice in an environment that we consider appropriate, which San Siro guarantees today, but with gaps due to the years.
