Seven Big Stars in the Summer Nights

Seven great artists: Max Angioni, Gigi D’Alessio, Renga and Nek, Mr.Rain, De Gregori and VillaBanks

ASTI – From 11th to 17th July the 27th edition of the Astimusica festival will be held in Asti, which this year will see seven great artists on stage in the new location in Piazza Alfieri.

The choice of this location, larger than Piazza Cattedrale where it had always taken place, represents not only a logistical adjustment, but also a symbol of the evolution and expansion of the event, which is increasingly important at a national level. Also this year the artistic direction has been entrusted to the journalist and music critic Massimo Cotto, who was able to create a program capable of confirming Astimusica as a festival capable of intercepting current trends and the tastes of multiple generations. Thanks to his expertise and vision, the festival once again proves to be at the forefront, offering an artistic selection that embraces different influences and styles.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Asti thanks to the support of the sponsors (Banca di Asti, Asp, Iren, Massucco Noleggi, Liuzzi Service Center, Spazio4, Alfaform), plus the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Asti Foundation, and the two realities that believed in the event by investing in the six evenings: Politeama Eventi and Audere Eventi.

«As far as we are concerned – states Matteo Bosia (Politeama events) – we focused on Mr. Rain, fresh from two participations in the Sanremo festival; Francesco De Gregori, iconic figure of Italian music; and the rapper Villabanks, among the artists best known by young people. I can add that pre-sales are going well.”
«We open the festival – adds Marco Sabotti (Audere srl) – with Max Angioni, a very talented comedian, known for his ability to make people laugh and reflect at the same time. Then there will be Gigi D’Alessio, icon of Neapolitan music, capable of combining tradition and modernity, and the beloved couple formed by Nek and Francesco Renga, who closes the first part of the festival, divided in two by the European Football Championship”.
The evenings in Piazza Alfieri will always begin at 9pm. Some concerts will have seating while others will have a standing parterre.
Tickets are already available on TicketOne, where for the first year a section dedicated to the festival with all the dates has been reserved, and at authorized sales points.
