Born in Torre del Greco on 5 April 1987, he began his career as a sports manager at Spal, as scouting manager for the Centre-South. He later took on the role of sporting director of Sorrento, before moving to the Santa Maria Sports Club. After these parentheses he joined Giugliano for two seasons. Below is the press release.

Antonio Amodio will be the new sporting director of Crotone. The company itself made this known through a press release: “The Crotone Football Club announces that it has entrusted the role of sporting director to Antonio Amodio. Born in Torre del Greco on 5 April 1987, he began his career as a sports manager at Spal, as scouting manager for the Centre-South.
He later took on the role of sporting director of Sorrento, before moving to the Santa Maria Sports Club. In the last two seasons he was the sporting director of Giugliano Calcio, contributing to the Campania club’s historic participation in the Serie C playoffs.
