On the bradyseism emergency in Phlegraean Fieldsafter the last strong tremors of May 20th, the deputy intervened Antonio Caso of the M5Swhich requested urgent interventions from the Minister of Civil Protection Nello Musumeci.
“The evicted Phlegraean citizens were abandoned to their own devices. Musumeci had promised funds and resources which for the moment are just talk. An order to make the evicted properties safe by the Municipal Administration of Pozzuoli has thrown hundreds of families into panic. Where are the funds promised by the Government?”.
“How does the Minister think that citizens can repair buildings if no useful tool has been provided, for example like the SuperSismaBonus? We wouldn’t like to say that we were always right* but unfortunately we had already announced to the Minister that it would come to all this during the work of the Campi Flegrei Decree in Parliament”he added Case.
“Therefore we now ask Minister Musumeci to speak clearly to the citizens and say whether he intends to put in resources or continue to just talk. While the Minister decides, can we hope that the Local Authorities will intervene to give the Phlegraean territory some respite?”, concludes the Flegrean deputy M5S, Antonio Caso.
