Sixty checks carried out, six properties seized, 19 people reported to the judicial authority e 22 reported for administrative violations are the result of the activities of check carried out last May by municipal police of Palermo for violations of urban planning regulations in various areas of the city.
Between these Cruillas, Monte Pellegrino, Villaggio Santa Rosalia, Fondo Anfossi and Borgo Vecchio. Several irregularities have been found in recent weeks due to works undertaken illegally, without prior possession of authorizations and failure to comply with the constraints imposed.
In particular, in Cruillas street, following a complaint, the seizure of a property of approximately 45 m2 under construction was carried out. On the same land, a preventive seizure of the perimeter wall, belonging to another owner, had already been issued.
In via Castellana Bandiera the seizure resulted from the construction, without authorization, of a swimming pool, after excavating the rocky ridge of approximately 50 m2.
In via Bartolomeo Tomasinofollowing a complaint, the occupation of an area of approximately 100 square meters, belonging to the Iacp, with a low perimeter wall being newly built, was detected.
In via Zurich extraordinary maintenance work was stopped, with an expansion of approximately 45 square metres, of a property for which the company did not have a building permit.
In Dalia Streetfinally, a five-storey building was seized which did not have the approval of the Civil Engineers and with a project different from that attached to the Scia. In this case, both the director of the works and the company that owns the property were referred to the judicial authorities for the crime of forgery, as well as for building abuse.
