On Sunday 9 June in Catanzaro, at the “Girasole” sports center, starting from 10 am, a series of local associations will be the protagonists of a day of solidarity in support of the initiative “FREE INFORMATION – A REPORTER ON THE FRONT LINE”, promoted by the war reporter and independent analyst, Giusy Criscuolo.
Giusy, a freelance journalist, born and raised in Soverato, has focused her professional action on the search for the truth, supporting the reader’s right to be informed. The services she carried out in the Kurdish villages, in Jerusalem during her two-year stay, in Afghanistan, Bolivia and Africa are a testimony to this. In order to give voice to the victims of the Ukrainian conflict and tell the horrors of that war, you launched a fundraiser to cover the costs of carrying out the investigation.
Associations active in the area and free citizens who support freedom of information will participate and, in addition to publicizing the initiative of their compatriot Giusy, they will be promoters of the fundraising. Sports, fun and recreational activities, social lunch, raffle and much more, the proceeds of which will be donated to support “Free information – a reporter on the front line”.
