CAFFÈ TOSCANO PIELLE LIVORNO is pleased to announce that it has reached a collaboration agreement, for the 2024/2025 season, with Davide Bonacini, playmaker born in 1990, 190 cm and weighing 85 kg.
A thoroughbred playmaker, with the license to make forays into the opponents’ areas, the 1990-born director from Reggio Emilia will put all his energy and creativity at the disposal of Caffè Toscano PL. He will bring a dose of experience guaranteed by 8 top-level championships played in A2 with the jerseys of, among others, Forlì, Montegranaro, Bakery Piacenza (under the orders of coach Federico Campanella), Mantova, Npc Rieti and lastly Urania Milano.
These are the words of the General Manager, Gianluca Petronio: “Davide Bonacini after many years and fruitful experiences in Serie A2 returns to Serie B and does so, like his other teammates, to be coached again by Federico Campanella. His last experience in B, in Forlì, was crowned by a convincing promotion. Davide embodies the true profile of the playmaker who leads and triggers his teammates before thinking about his personal loot and who interprets at his best, bringing it to the parquet, the system and the game plan studied by the technical staff. Appreciated and complete defender, leader on and off the field, he approaches this experience in Pial with great enthusiasm and motivation”.
These are the words of coach Federico Campanella: “Davide is a player with a winning mentality, a top-class playmaker and the last 8 seasons played in A2 prove it. He won his last adventure in Serie B with the Forlì jersey. He is very good at managing the pace and the team, reading the moments of the game and getting his teammates into rhythm. He has different and complementary characteristics to those of Venucci, in addition to being an excellent defender. I personally had already coached him in Piacenza, where in A2, he had his best season”.
