PUBLIC WORKS – Interventions in Ferrara from 10 June 2024
Below are some updates relating to public works in progress or leaving from 10 June 2024 in the municipal area of Ferrara, conducted under the supervision of the technicians and operators of the Public Works and Heritage Sector of the Municipality of Ferrara.
PUBLIC LIGHTING – The modernization work of another 6,444 light points in the municipal area is underway
The modernization work of the entire municipal public lighting network of Ferrara continues in the historic center and hamlets with the third and final batch of energy and plant requalification interventions envisaged in the “Energy performance service of the public lighting and traffic light systems of the Municipality of Ferrara”, entrusted to Hera Luce srl.
From the start of the works to today, approximately 4,884 lighting fixtures of the 6,444 planned.
In the WEEK OF JUNE 10, 2024 the works will involve:
– Via delle Volte, via delle Pescherie Vecchie, via Leoncorno, via Spronello, via Camaleonte, via dei Baluardi, via Borgo di Sotto, via Praisolo, via Porta San Pietro, via Coronella, via della Berta, via Val di Cuorewith overall modernization works of the system (laying new overhead cables, power lines, LED lighting fixtures, etc…);
– Loc. Cocomaro di Focomorto and Loc. Codrea with civil works (excavations with fixed sections, installation of corrugated lines, wells, foundation plinths, bases for electrical panels, etc.), necessary for the installation of the components for the construction of the new systems.
The works should not slow down ordinary traffic.
ROADS – Restoration of road surfaces previously affected by interventions on underground utilities
The restoration of road surfaces previously affected by interventions on the underground systems of Hera SpA, Inrete SpA and Heratech SpA Ferrara continues in the area.
The asphalting works by Hera are currently being completed avenue Holland, via Belgio, via Polonia.
In progress the asphalting work on a stretch of via Conchettathe subject of previous excavations for the laying of the gas network pipeline (Hera).
Monday 10 June 2024 asphalting works will begin via Magentathe subject of previous excavations for the laying of the gas network pipeline (Hera).
SUB-SERVICES – Excavation interventions for the installation of new pipelines and systems
This is the list of works in progress by the management companies of underground services (carried out in agreement with the Excavations Office of the Municipality of Ferrara), for the installation of new pipelines and systems in various areas of the municipal territory:
– Via Toscanini: installation of new electrical systems by Terna
– Via Bach: installation of new electrical systems by Terna;
– Via della Fiera: installation of new electrical systems by Terna
– Via Pelosa: installation of new electrical systems by Enel Green Power
– Via Coronella: installation of new electrical systems by Enel Green Power
– Via Cento in Porotto: laying of new water main.
– Via Bologna (SS64 Porrettana): from Monday 10 June 2024 (barring adverse weather conditions), Enel Green Power will begin laying a power line using the “no dig” technique, from the intersection with Via Coronella towards the city center of Ferrara (in the section under Anas’ responsibility).
To allow its execution, traffic will be regulated a alternating one-way, with possible traffic slowdowns. We recommend using alternative routes using the Western Ring Road.
PUBLIC GREEN – Maintenance of green areas and grass cutting
The green maintenance program continues in the municipal area by Ferrara Tua, in agreement with the municipal administration. Grass mowing interventions are underway in green areas, parks, road verges and trunks, schoolyards and cemeteries in the municipal area.
