RIETI – The Sabine footballer Emanuele Valeri will play in Serie A again next year: the 25-year-old originally from Cottanello, in fact, has reached an agreement with Parma, thanks to the painstaking work of the coach Fabio Pecchia, who Valeri already had two years ago to the Cremonese.
Valeri will join the Ducali on a free transfer, after a troubled year to say the least, half spent outside the squad (at Cremonese), half with the Frosinone jersey on, until the mocking relegation to Serie B which occurred at Stirpe last May 26th . The yellow-blue club is defining the final contractual details, but Valeri will join Parma on a three-year deal plus the option for a fourth year, the latter linked to appearances and goals.
Pecchia’s positive opinion was decisive, as well as the insistent phone calls between the coach and the player in the last week, when, moreover, Udinese, Monza and Turin had fallen on Valeri, all three, however, wasted in time also thanks to the fact that so much the Bianconeri, when the Lombards and the Granata, have not yet resolved the coaching problem.
