TERAMO – A “secular” and unconditional analysis of the delicate relationship between politics and the judiciary: this, in a nutshell, is the content of “La Repubblica sotto trial”, Goffredo’s latest book Whelks, special correspondent and editorialist for “Il corriere della sera”. The volume will be presented in Teramo, as part of the initiatives promoted by the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, next Thursday 13 June at 5.30 pm, in the internal courtyard of the Melchiorre Delfico Library, in the presence of the Author.
It will be a real journey through an accurate diachronic reconstruction of the main events that have marked the stages of Italian judicial history over the last thirty years, without ever losing the hope of rediscovering “among the folds of our DNA the genes of Einaudi and of many who, like him, constituted the ruling class of the ‘miracle’ of collective palingenesis after the war, in the matured awareness that when we return to electing discipline and honor as preconditions of public functions, the resolution of the conflict between politics and the judiciary will come naturally.”
After Alfredo’s introductory greetings Grottoresponsible for the Abruzzo branch of the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, will discuss with the Author the General Secretary of the Luigi Einaudi Foundation, Andrea Cangini; Gianfranco Iadecola, lawyer and former magistrate of the Court of Cassation; Maximilian Annettalawyer of the Court of Florence and Rosita Of Cocoprofessor of criminal procedural law at the University of Teramo.
