“I agree with Father Moscone’s words. You have to vote to choose your future”

Manfredonia. “I totally agree with Father Franco Moscone’s words dedicated to the electoral competition in Manfredonia. We need to go and vote, avoiding abstention, to decide the future of the city and free it from constraints, threats and pressures”.

Father Franco, an enlightened guide attentive to the city’s problems, said that abstention is not an act of protest against bad politics, but “an act of surrender to the strong powers and the mafias who will continue to buy votes cheaply and impose their candidates”.

I believe it too. And it is for this reason that I ask all citizens of good will to go and vote and choose the right vision for our community. We are called at this moment to change things, to renew political practices and methods, to deconstruct the power of crime which, once again, wants to dictate the law on the affairs of public affairs.

Politics must return to Manfredonia intent on solving the needs of citizens, the territory and the youngest. A politics finally freed from conditioning and pressure.

I believe that a new season can be born for Manfredonia if we are able to think of the word power not as a noun, but as a verb. The power to change things: a bold and demanding challenge that, I hope, we will all face together for the collective good.
