CORIGLIANO-ROSANO – Not just me Pinqua I am under the magnifying glass of the judiciary.
Yesterday we reported the launch of an investigation by the magistrates of the Castrovillari Prosecutor’s Officefollowing a detailed complaint which was formalized last March 27 by the well-known Rossonese criminal lawyer Pino Zumpano.
The day before yesterday, the professional was questioned at length in the Rossoneri barracks financial police on the facts narrated by him in a detailed and documented way. Facts relating to the purchase made by the Municipality of Corigliano-Rossano of some dilapidated properties which the public body paid at the “weight in gold” to a private individual who is not just any private individual, but who goes by the name of Tonino Caracciolo, former mayor of Rossano and iron ally of the young mayor in office of Corigliano-Rossano Flavio Stasi, of whom the former administrator is considered the political mentor.

The city financial police, at the instigation of the Castrovillarese prosecutor’s office, in recent days acquired all the deeds and documents of investigative interest from the municipal offices, as we reported yesterday (“Pinqua”, the Prosecutor’s Office starts the investigation and sends the Finance Department to the Municipality).

The investigations, in this case, were delegated to carabinieri.
Judicial police officers of the local force, in fact, last Thursday, therefore exactly a week ago, they showed up at the municipal public works offices where they acquired the investigation documents all decisions regarding direct assignment to city companies who worked for the institution from the year 2020 until 2024 in progress. Which are now being sifted through for checks.
The suspicion is that the Municipality has not respected the rotation principle established by law for direct assignments below the threshold, perhaps favoring “friendly” companies.
