D’Egidio: political and administrative suicide – Teramo

TERAMO. The removal of Valdo Di Bonaventura he left “Teramo Vive” without contacts on the board. Meanwhile, yesterday the provincial secretary of Action intervened promptly and harshly Alessio D’Egidio who spoke of «unprecedented political and administrative suicide. It is impossible to remain silent in the face of such an aberration, especially knowing that, to arrive at this decision, the procrastinator D’Alberto paralyzed the administration and the work of the council and commissions for over 50 days.” D’Egidio, who sits in opposition, underlines “the impeccable work of Di Bonaventura, a key element of this administration and pillar of citizen consensus”. A strong defense that the secretary of Action also makes for Ilaria De Sanctis. «The mayor also threw councilor De Sanctis into the political grinder, despite his proven experience and industriousness. But who recommends it? Maybe the civics, of whom he is hostage? Or did he ask President Conte for advice, opting for his future candidacy in the 5 Star Movement? Yet it would have been enough to replace a single councilor, having guaranteed the seat of L’Aquila to the previous one”, writes D’Egidio who says he is amazed by the silence of “Teramo Vive” and expresses closeness to the two removed councilors “in the hope of being able to build, together, a valid alternative to this bad city government. Furthermore, I invite the three councilors of “Teramo Vive” to move to the mixed group and sit in opposition, to finally respect those 2,111 people from Teramo who allowed the Gianguido encore”.
The reaction of “Together We Can” was also prompt, expressing satisfaction “for the interruption from the administrative impasse of the last few weeks”. «In sacrificing the legitimate personal political aspirations of the present and past members of the group, the major electoral contributor of the majority, we reiterate our convinced support for the administrative action», writes the group, «we will carefully monitor the work of the junta and the timely adherence to the city government project. The mayor will be able to valorise in the way he deems most appropriate and functional to the good administration of Teramo, the work skills and active commitment, which is not lacking in the current phase, which the members of the group have always ensured”. Finally, “Together We Can” thanks De Sanctis for «the contribution of commitment, ideas and humanity offered to the community and to us». (vm)
