Sanremo. Last week the final day of the “Let’s speak French” project took place, which included three meetings on Italian-French territory. These activities involved theSanremo-Ponente Comprehensive Institute together with a school in Beausoleil and one in Nice.

Since last year, a collaboration has been activated between Italian and French teachers and the simultaneous visit of the schools for a comparison of the different scholastic realities.

The project which includes Italy and France was born with the aim of bringing children together, in order not only to develop knowledge of another language, but also to have cultural exchanges. Getting to know each other is always a great way to discover the world.

The first meeting with the students took place on 19 March in the Ospedaletti sports field, where a number of recreational and sporting activities were planned for the children. For this we thank the sports clubs of Ospedaletti, the Sanremo Golf Club, the Terre di Confine association and Ekoclub International, and the Municipal Administration which has given great help
in the implementation of the project. The second and third meetings were scheduled respectively in Beausoleil on March 21st and in Nice on May 27th where, here too, the children were able to play together practicing sporting, educational and dynamic activities, on French territory.

«We thank the inspector of the French school Fabienne Battaglia, the Director Paolo Auricchia and his collaborators who believed in the project and all the other people who collaborated, with the hope of continuing the collaboration in the coming years».
