Viterbo – The message of condolence from the president of the province Alessandro Romoli for the passing of Franco Bruni
Viterbo – We receive and publish – It is with great pain in my heart that I learned of the passing of Franco Bruni, an extraordinary man of the institutions and one of the best administrators and representatives that Tuscia has ever had.

Militant of the Christian Democracy, in times when there was no room for improvisation in politics, Bruni courageously represented and served the institutions of the state at all levels: mayor of Capodimonte, President of the Province, Councilor of the Lazio Region, Deputy and President of the Agriculture Commission.
Not only. Always close to direct farmers, Bruni also had exceptional experience in the world of trade associations as President of Coldiretti Viterbo and national vice-president of Coldiretti.
Bruni was certainly a great party man – Christian Democrat – and a great servant of the institutions. But even more than that he was a great representative of Tuscia, of which he defended its interests, demands and prerogatives beyond the colors and political alignments.
In an interview given in 2019, Bruni warned citizens against improvisation in politics and the use of aggressive tones and slogans in public debate. A great teaching from him that we must all keep in mind.
A great teaching, his, which should lead us to a deep reflection on the fact that we are all called to collaborate for the collective good. Above and beyond the slogans and shouts.
Today the Province of Viterbo loses a great servant of the State and a great man. My most sincere condolences and those of the provincial administration of Viterbo therefore go to Francesco Bruni’s family and all his loved ones.
