Sixty-year-old on holiday in Senigallia gets lost: searched all night and found in Ancona

Late in the evening of Monday 3 June, i Senigallia Carabinieri were engaged in the operations of looking for a sixty year old of the province of Perugia.

The man, without documentsit was located in Senigallia on holiday, to spend a period of rest in the company of a group of friends. The sixty year old he distanced himself from his group of friendswithout being able, due to the lack of knowledge of the place, to find a way to go back to the hotel where he was staying.

Once the alarm was raised, they were use all available forces to find the tourist, alerting the various patrols in the area and, with the authorization of the Prefecture of Ancona, the provincial plan for the search for missing persons.

Fortunately, despite everyone’s great apprehension, on the morning of Tuesday 4 June the man was traced to Ancona in the port area by a patrol of the State Police. Once his identity was ascertained, the Umbrian tourist was then accompanied to the Torrette Civil Hospital in Ancona and subjected to health checks. The sixty-year-old was then reinstated in good condition to the family.
