The electoral campaign for the choice of the municipal administration that will lead the country for the next five years is nearing completion. The month of May was spent in Costigliole under the banner of the candidates’ meetings with the population in the evenings offered in the various villages of the area and of discussions and reflections between the people of Costigliole on the issues that concern the town. The people of Costigliole will choose their future mayor between Enrico Cavallero, outgoing mayor, and Alessandro Borio, former municipal councilor of the outgoing administration, who resigned a year ago.
The candidates
Supporting Borio in list 1 “Costigliole Project” are Fabio Baldi, Claudio Ceste, Gloria Gamba, Fabrizio Carnino, Claudio Austa (municipal councilor of Cavallero’s group who resigned last autumn), Fabrizio Marchisio, Marco Giordano, Teodosio Baccelliere (councillor and councilor in the Borriero administrations), Bruna Poggio (in the Solaro administration and then opposition municipal councilor), Carla Oliveri, Alessandra Villa, Alessia Morini.
Supporting Cavallero in list 2 is “Costigliole Viva!” there will be the outgoing councillors, Laura Bianco (deputy mayor), Giuseppe Fiore and Chiara Cirio, and the outgoing city councilor Daniela Sorbara; Dr. Pierluigi Stella, outgoing minority councilor, Giulia Boeri, Claudio Marmo, Laura Muratore, Fabio Pizzo, Erika Porro, Michele Rainero, Laura Santarsiero.
The last evening meetings
At the end there will also be evening meetings with the population (starting at 8.30pm) to illustrate programs and listen to citizens’ reflections. Alessandro Borio’s list will be tomorrow, Wednesday, in the hamlet of Annunziata and Thursday in Costigliole, in the parish hall. Enrico Cavallero’s list will meet the people of Costigliole this evening, Tuesday, in the hamlet of Annunziata and on Thursday in Costigliole at the municipal theatre.
