CASELLE-CIRIE’ – Rete Ferroviaria Italiana will carry out important infrastructure upgrading works along the Turin-Ciriè-Germagnano line, in particular between Venaria Reale and Germagnano. In agreement with the Piedmont Region and local authorities, RFI’s activities are part of a broader program of infrastructural and technological enhancement interventions on the Turin-Ciriè-Germagnano line, the objective of which is to raise national standards and reclassify the entire line to the maximum possible axial mass and widen the limiting gauge.

From 17 to 23 June the activities will be concentrated in particular between Venaria Reale and Germagnano and will be aimed at the creation of the new Master Plan of Turin Caselle Airport. With an investment of 2 million euros, the interventions are preparatory for the activation of platforms 3 and 4 of the Turin Airport station. These are particular works that can only be carried out by interrupting the railway circulation scheduled for the week from 17 to 23 June 2024.

From 17 June to 23 June, changes are therefore expected to the circulation of trains for infrastructural improvement interventions. The trains of the SFM4 line (Alba-Turin-Airport-Ciriè) and SFM7 (Fossano-Turin-Airport-Ciriè) will run up to Venaria Reale Reggia, while the trains of the SFMA line (Ciriè-Germagnano) are suspended. A rescheduling of the service is planned with bus trips between Venaria Reale Reggia and Germagnano, intermediate stops in all stations along the route. Changes to timetables are possible, with a possible increase in travel times, also in relation to road traffic. It is therefore advisable to consider replanning your trip.

Bikes are not permitted on buses and animals are not permitted with the exception of guide dogs. Trenitalia’s purchasing channels are updated with the new traffic program. Detailed information is available on www.trenitalia.com (Infomobility section, on the Works and Service Changes page) and via Smart Caring on the Trenitalia App, the free call center is active 800 89 20 21.
