FANO – He had time to pull over to the side of the road before the illness that struck him could get the better of him: a gesture that, even if it didn’t save his life, did avoided potentially much more serious consequences to others: the stretch where the tragedy occurred is always crossed by chaotic traffic and it is not uncommon for the roadside to be frequented by pedestrians and cyclists.
It happened in the late afternoon of June 3rd in Torrette di Fano, along the Adriatica state road, near the “Kart Show”. The protagonist of the story is a 60 year old from Mondolfo who was traveling along the stretch driving his van: what seemed like a working day like many others suddenly took another, much more dramatic turn: the man probably began to feel the first symptoms of an illness, presumably a heart attack; he just had time to pull over with the intention of asking for help but he didn’t have time: his heart stopped while he was trying to get out of the vehicle.
The van on the roadside it didn’t go unnoticed and someone alerted the Municipal police and of rescued: i healthcarethose who arrived on site could not do anything else declare the death. The body was made available to the magistrate even if there were no doubts about the natural causes of death.
