PESARO The dogs attack the neighbor’s sheep, who reacts by causing damage to his neighbor’s woman and smashing her intercom. A case that culminates in a series of cross-complaints and a double process. It is the story, which ended up in the courtroom in recent days, of two neighbors from Montelabbate with more than tense relationships. The triggering event dates back to September 2022 when the woman, owner of two rottweiler, a 56-year-old lady allegedly failed to look after her dogs due to “incompetence, imprudence and negligence” according to the complaint filed. The Rottweilers had snuck into the neighbor’s garden and attacked three sheep, causing serious injuries to them.

Sheep killed

Among other things, one of the sheep had to be killed because the injuries sustained were deemed too serious by the vet. The owner of the animals himself, a young man of 28 years old, noticed the attack and ran into their enclosure to defend them but had in turn sustained injuries to his hand from the rottweilers so much so that he ended up in the emergency room where he was given 10 days of prognosis. Thus a first complaint was filed against the lady for negligent injury and failure to look after animals. But the tense relations between the two then led to another episode which cost the young man a complaint against him.

In fact, it would not have been the first time that Rottweilers had managed to enter the land of the man who in turn went to the neighbor’s property and with a hammer then destroyed the mailbox and unhinged the pole where the intercom was installed . Hence the counter-complaint for aggravated damage and trespass. Yesterday the case of the damage was discussed before the single judge with the accused who extinguished the crime thanks to socially useful work in the City of Joy.

The man was defended by the lawyer Alice Terenzi. The other trial, the one linked to the attack on the sheep and the lady’s failure to take care of them, will be discussed on 14 June before the justice of the peace. The lawyer Silvia Pierini defends the woman.
