An Opi Bat training event is scheduled in Andria on the central role of the hemodynamics and interventional radiology nurse in the interventional approach to the critically ill patient.
On June 7th, an important training event will be held in the “Il Sapore dei Miracoli” reception hall in via Madre Teresa di Calcutta n.10: the course “Multidisciplinary Interventional Approach to the Critically Ill Patient in the Cerebrovascular and Cardiovascular Area”.
This course, sponsored by prestigious bodies such as OPI BAT, UOC Interventional Radiology Andria and UOSD Hemodynamics of ASL BAT, represents a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to deepen their knowledge and skills in cerebral and cardiovascular emergencies.

At the heart of this course is the fundamental role of the haemodynamic nurse, a key professional figure in the management of critically ill patients. The hemodynamics nurse works in close contact with the medical team, providing direct assistance during interventional procedures and ensuring constant monitoring of the patient’s condition.
Dr. Arcangela Scarabino, coordinator of the UOC Radiology, UOS Interventional Angiography and UOS Hemodynamics, together with Dr. Giuseppe Guglielmi, ASP Specialist Nurse UOSD Hemodynamics, will guide the participants through a training course that underlines the importance of integrating nursing skills and cutting-edge techniques in the interventional field.
The Dr. Giuseppe Papagni, President of OPI BAT, underlined the importance of events like this to raise the standard of care and improve the clinical outcomes of patients.

“The importance of the nurse in the modern healthcare system – continues the president – cannot be underestimated. Nurses are often the first line of defense in the management of critically ill patients and play a crucial role in the coordination and execution of care. This course represents a fundamental step in the development of nursing skills, allowing professionals to acquire advanced knowledge and continuously improve the quality of care offered. Investing in the continuing education of nurses means investing in the health and well-being of the community.”
This residential training course promises to be a high-level educational experience, with direct implications on the quality of critically ill patient care. The course awards 10 (ten) ECM training credits.
