Lastly, it is useless to reiterate that the state concession of the port of Anzio is the only intangible asset to be defended, for everything else the management of Capo d’Anzio must be brought to the attention of the Court of Auditors and it would be useful if some of the interested parties responded to engineer Marconi’s accusations which, if not true, are defamatory. The passing of the buck by those who administered the city is unacceptable. False and exploitative controversies should be sent back to the sender. If Maranesi or others then want to throw the next elections into a fight, I think they have misunderstood and therefore I will not fall for provocations.”
